Welcome To Weston, MassachusettsSince Weston was founded in the 1700s, the Ames family practically owned it. They made their fortune in the silver business, and became the most successful family in Weston. They were mayors, selectmen, town officials, and they poured all their money into building Weston up. They've been revered in Weston ever since, and practically everything built in the town is now named after them. In 1955, the last true Ames heir, Bradford Ames, passed away. In his will, he desired for his estate to be turned into a private academy for gifted students. He wanted to give back, and provide a top-notch education for children who really deserved it. In 1960, Ames Academy opened, and since then it's been turning out some of America's finest individuals. Its students go on to be congressmen, lawyers, doctors, businessmen. And in turn, they now send their own children to Ames Academy to get the same education they got. Welcome to Ames AcademyOnce you pass under the stone arch and travel down the dirt road to Ames Academy, you enter into a different world. Everything is much simpler. Even Weston itself seems to be caught in a time warp. Things haven't changed much since Bradford Ames died. Of course, some things are timeless. Love blossoms, hate boils, gossip spreads like wildfire. It's easy to get sucked into life at Ames Academy. Just don't forget why you came in the first place. welcome to ames academy.
